One Gold Ball and Playing for Another 16

One Gold Ball and Playing for Another
The day got away from me so this is just a quick update of results with more detail to follow tomorrow when I am flying back to Colorado
The singles semis went my way as I won 6-4, 7-6 (7-5). Super competitive match with lots of ups and downs. My doubles partner Brian Cheney won his semi in three sets. We play tomorrow morning for the National Championship gold ball. This is a repeat of the final that we played last month in the Wilson World Classic.
Brian’s opponent was one of our opponents in today’s doubles final. He stopped playing in the third set against Brian with an injury. He then defaulted the doubles final, so we won the title. Disappointing to not win it on the court but fitness is part of the game.
