Federer, Belief and the Power of a Good Story 2

“Belief is the scepter of all champions. It’s the way they command respect from their competitors. It’s how they coordinate their amazing talents. In the end, it’s the difference between the legends and the other supremely talented stars.

The difference is crucial. With belief, another Grand Slam is always in sight; without it, he is just another talented player.”

Belief is forged in the stories we tell ourselves. It is easy to tell bad stories when things are not going well. The secret weapon of the very best is that they tell good stories…optimistic, positive, feel good, will do stories, even when things don’t look very bright. They will not be denied their good story.

I am a Federer fan. My story for him is a good one. I hope he has one too.

Federer is extremely smart and tenacious ,while Borg quit at the age of 26 , Federer continue to play well into his 30’s following the footstep of Conners and now Haas . As we all know he isn’t number one any more and probably will never be,but he continue to play as if he’s number one. Fan throughout the world admire him and respect him . I don’t think he is doing it for the money any more, but for the love of our sport Tennis. There is nothing like it.
